In conjunction with the Australian Open’s biggest sponsor Kia, we created a game-changer – a world-first augmented reality experience that turned tennis viewers into virtual players via their smartphone.

The integrated campaign delivered outstanding results. Kia recorded its best January and February sales on record, the experience generated more than $2 million in editorial coverage, and brand sentiment lifted significantly, with 79% of players feeling more positive toward Kia. The app became the #1 free app on iTunes, Australia’s #1 automotive app, spanned 110 countries and attracted over 70 million entries.
No wonder it also picked up a host of industry awards.
